Determine Your Own Need

  • Rather than worrying about complying to a specific rule, a better solution is to follow this practice:
    • Drink to thirst.
      • Remember that thirst is a sign of dehydration, so you shouldn’t be experiencing it!
    • Check your weight at the beginning and end of the day.
      • A body weight loss of 2{e6c4e4d09cbfcb70eba5dc435d44d7cb2d0e378527800a29222f16d6eea92ea1} or more can indicate dehydration. Be sure you adequately replace your fluids!
